Each Chinese headword is paired with a Tibetan equivalent, with many translations verified against existing published works to ensure practical accuracy. The dictionary also includes appendices such as character indices, chronological tables of Chinese dynasties and ethnic groups, a solar terms calendar, country profiles, a phonetic conversion table, and a table of chemical elements.
