About the Author
Wei Yang, Ph.D., is a Chinese art historian, art appraiser and writer. With degrees from Smith College (B.A and M.A.) and Northwestern University (Ph.D.), she holds two designations as Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) in the American Society of Appraisers. She published Wei Yang’s Guide to Chinese Painting & Calligraphy, 2 vols. (Nankai University Press, 2022) and a memoir in Chinese, Desert Bloom (Sha zaohua de gushi沙枣花的故事, Beijing Publishing House, 2021).
